GST work from your App data
The GST tools are separate Nivesh Sahayak sites that read the same data home as the App. Open them from the side menu; they already know every bill and purchase you saved.
Step by step
- Keep bills complete. Customer GSTIN, state, HSN and rate on every invoice; supplier GSTIN and bill number on every purchase.
- GSTR-1. Open GSTR-1 for the month: tables B2B, B2CS, notes and HSN summary, plus a JSON file for the portal.
- GSTR-2B matching. Download your GSTR-2B from the portal and match it in GSTR-2B matcher.
- GSTR-3B working. GSTR-3B working adds output tax, eligible ITC, set-off and cash payable.
- Composition dealers. CMP-08 working each quarter.
- File on the GST portal yourself. Nivesh Sahayak never logs in to the portal for you. Upload or type the figures with your own login.
Worked example
October: sales ₹2,00,000 + GST ₹36,000; purchases with ITC ₹18,000 (all in GSTR-2B). GSTR-3B working: output ₹36,000 − ITC ₹18,000 = ₹18,000 payable in cash, due 20 November.
Common mistakes and how to fix them
- Bills made in another browser are missing. The tools see only this browser's data home. Move data with a backup file.
