Group reports
Put customers and suppliers in groups (by area, trade or salesman) in My data, then see each group's totals here: balances, dues by age and your biggest parties.
Step by step
- Make groups first. In My data › Groups, add groups under Customers or Suppliers, for example "Ludhiana customers" with a sub-group "Builders". Then choose the group on each party.
- Open Group reports. Menu › Group reports (or the button on Parties).
- Choose a report. Group summary, Dues by group or Top parties.
- Choose the group and period. Pick Group (All, Customers, Suppliers or your own) and Period.
- Print, Share PDF or Excel.
Worked example
Group summary of the sample business: Customers 3 parties, closing ₹40,070 Dr; inside it Ludhiana customers ₹11,750 Dr (Verma Paints ₹3,726 + Builders ₹8,024). A group's total includes its sub-groups.
Common mistakes and how to fix them
- A party is in no group. It is counted under Customers or Suppliers by its role. Give it a group in My data.
